Timothy Joseph Long

Timothy Joseph Long, 68, died at home on Friday, May 15, 2015. He was born November 11, 1946 in Bethlehem, son of the late Joseph and Marie (Rogan) Long. Tim is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Nancy (Visneski) Long.

Tim was proud of his service in the US Army. He was the owner and operator of The Kutting Room, a barber shop on Linden Street in Bethlehem. Tim will be fondly remembered for his lighthearted, fun attitude; his joy of gardening and for having things done his way. Tim served as chairman of the 540 Democratic Association of Bethlehem for nine years.

Tim will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Siobhan Yetter and her husband, Brian and Ashley Long; as well as his granddaughter, Olivia Yetter all of Bethlehem; his siblings, Joseph Long and his wife, Mary of Bethlehem; Mary Stralo of Macungie; Sally Chaffier and her husband, Dr. Michael Chaffier of Hellertown and Michael Long of Bethlehem; and 16 nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or Lehigh Valley Hospice.
