Valentine Fontanez

Valentine Fontanez, 76, of Bethlehem, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at Manor Care Health Services in Bethlehem. He was born December 10, 1930 in Corozal, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Eladio and Sinforiana Santiago Fontanez. Valentine worked for Bethlehem Steel and he was a painter. He was a supporter of the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association and a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Valentine will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Valentine G. Fontanez, Jr. of Allentown; Michael D. Fontanez; Bobby Fontanez , and Victor Fontanez all of Bethlehem, Carlos M. Fontanez of Fountain Hill; Juan Fontanez of Puerto Rico; daughters, Carmen M. Fontanez of Bethlehem; Tina L. Fontanez of Bethlehem; Sandra Fontanez Acevedo of Bethlehem; Lydia Fontanez of Boston, MA; brothers, Niconol Fontanez of Bethlehem; Clemente Fontanez of Puerto Rico; Emilio Fontanez of Bethlehem; Rolo Fontanez of Bethlehem; sisters, Petra Colon of Bethlehem; Mercedes Ramirez of Bethlehem; Lucia Velez, Theresa Fontanez and Juana Fontanez all of Puerto Rico, 28 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by, his son, George Fontanez and three brothers, Leo and Alejandro, and Tino Fontanez.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday December 5th, 2007 at 10AM at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 East Fourth St. Bethlehem, Pa. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 8-10AM in the church.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem, PA
