Vera T. Balik

Vera T. Balik, 80, of Bethlehem, died on December 16, 2022.

She was born September 27, 1942, in Allentown, PA; daughter of the late Martin H. and Theresa S. (Bennish) Szabo.

Vera will be remembered for the love she shared with her family. Family always came first before all else and Vera appreciated the time that she spent with family, and they valued the time spent with her. Vera was extremely giving and kind. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, solitaire, and watching her favorite television shows.

Vera attended Allentown Business School and worked as an office manager at a few Lehigh Valley businesses.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Brenda Schnable and husband, Gus; and Laura Drozda and husband, Eric; as well as her granddaughter, Rae Schnable. Vera is also survived by her beloved parrot, Baby. Baby could be found perched on Veras shoulder all day and night. Vera was preceded in death by her brother, Martin Szabo and sister, Veronica Benes.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home and will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Vera to Last Chance Ranch, Quakertown.
