Veronica D. Salvatore-Mack

Veronica D. Sobchak Salvatore-Mack, 79, of Freemansburg, died Friday, April 25, 2008 at Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem.

Born May 4, 1928 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Bartos Sobchak. She was married to the late James F. Mack.

Veronica worked as an inspector at the former Western Electric. She was a member of the St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society in Catasaqua for 25 years before moving in with her daughter and son-in-law and joining Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bethlehem Township.

Veronica will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Georgine wife of John Kilpatrick of Freemansburg, Pa., sons; James F. Mack, Jr. and wife Linda of Jim Thorpe, Ronald G. Mack and wife Sandi of Neffs, Pa, Thomas M. Mack and wife Brenda of Whitehall, Pa., and Timothy P. Mack and wife Diane of Whitehall, Pa. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her 4 brothers; John, Theodore, Peter, and Stephen Sobchak, sisters; Anna Sobchak and Agnes Gehringer.

SERVICES

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Service will be held at 10:30 AM in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1817 First St. Bethlehem Township, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
