Victor Derosa

Victor J. DeRosa, 81, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Old Orchard in Easton.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY; the son of the late Alex and Julia DeRosa.

Victor was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 56 years, Emanuella "Nellie" Castagna DeRosa

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Victor retired from NY Transit Authority after 25 years of service.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Janice Piccirelli and her husband Stephen of Bethlehem; his son, Gary V. DeRosa and his wife Leyda of Easton; as well as his sister Tina Gatti of California. He will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Stephanie Radler, Lisa Konrad, Janelle Taylor and Carolyn DeRosa and great grandchildren, Dylan, Logan, Brayden, Nolan, Olivia and Ella.

A viewing will be held on Monday, January, 3, 2011 from 3-8 PM; Tuesday, January 4, 2010 from 1-4 PM & 6-9 PM and again on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 8:15-9:15 AM all at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020.

Entombment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery Mausoleum, Bethlehem.
