Victoria A. Balog

Victoria A. Balog, 72, of Bethlehem passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Born on December 16, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Irene (Novak) and John Peters. She was the loving wife of Joseph M. Balog.

Victoria had an amazing green thumb. She loved gardening and with her love and talents, even kept plants and flowers alive for decades. She enjoyed cooking and she would do anything for her family. Victoria's family was her life and she cherished them greatly, especially her grandson, Michael. After graduating from Bethlehem Catholic High School, Victoria pursued a degree in psychology from Beaver College (Arcadia University) earning membership to Psi Chi Honors Society. She went on to enter the Master's Degree program at Lehigh University for school counseling, finishing in 1975.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Joseph M. Balog; daughter, Rebecca Lorah and her husband, Mike; grandson, Michael; brothers, John and Joe Peters and many nieces and nephews. Victoria was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Jeffrey Peters and sister, Mary Georgine Peters.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
