Vincent Attinello

Vincent Attinello, 85, of Monmouth Beach, NJ and formerly of Easton, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at his daughter's home, where he resided for the past 7 years. He was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on November 14, 1923; son of the late Santo and Concetta Azzalina Attinello. He was the loving husband of the late Veronica Polenchar Attinello who died in October, 2002.

Vincent worked for Flock Industries for 15 years before retiring in 1993. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was awarded the American Theatre Campaign, European - African - Middle Eastern Campaign, Army Good Conduct, and World War II Victory Medals. He was also a qualified sharpshooter. He was a former member of St. Jane Frances De Chantal Catholic Church, Easton and a graduate of St. Phillip and St. James Catholic High School.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, James J. Attinello of Easton, daughter, Dr. Debra Jean Molbegott & husband, Dr. Lester Molbegott of Monmouth Beach, NJ, brother, Anthony Attinello of Phillipsburg, NJ, sisters, Theresa Nicrone, Frances Attinello and Bessy Roland all of Phillipsburg, NJ, grandchildren, Sean and Ashley Dunleavy, Austin and Alexander Molbegott, and Christopher and Deanna Attinello. He was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Corriere, and Grace Attinello, brothers, Carmen and Samuel Attinello.
