Vincenzina Thoder

Vincenzina “Vinci” Thoder, 87, of Bethlehem, passed on Monday, August 8, 2016. She was born March 9, 1929; daughter of the late Thomas and Nazarena (Silvaggi) Rosati. Vinci was a devoted wife of 38 years to her late husband, Joseph J. Thoder, Sr.

Vinci was a loving mother and grandmother who dedicated her entire life to her family. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Lisa Close and her husband, Hugh; and Marilyn Perkins and her husband, Thomas, all of Bethlehem; son, Dr. Joseph J. Thoder, Jr. and his wife, Sheila of Chalfont; as well as eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Vinci was preceded in death by her sisters, Susan Rosati, anne Marino, Antoinette Steixner, and Josephine Krokus and her brothers Lawrence and Thomas.

A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 8-10:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 617 Main St. Hellertown, PA 18055 and/or Hospice House of St. Lukes 240 Union Station Plaza, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
