Violet A. Weaver, 83, of Danielsville, died on Friday, June 9, 2017. She was born January 27, 1934 in Fountain Hill, daughter of the late Lawrence Robert and Sarah Eva (Rice) Werkheiser. Violet was preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Daniel Weaver.

Violet not only dedicated her life to her family but she also cared for the children of working mothers. Violet could be found playing bingo, cards, coloring and watching her favorite soap operas. Her family was very important to her and she especially loved going camping with them. She was of the protestant faith.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Robert Weaver; Michael Weaver and his wife, Tanya; Mark Weaver and his companion, Dolores; Donna Shuman and her husband, Ricky; Marcia Andrews and her companion, Kermit; and Carol Schaffer and her husband, Clarence; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Violet was predeceased by her daughter, Sharon; granddaughter, Brenda; and brothers, Franklin, Lawrence, and Sylvanus.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a ceremony to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
