Virginia A. Remely

Virginia "Ginny" A. Holetz Remely , 67, of Bethlehem, PA passed into the arms of our Lord on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. Ginny was born to Alexander and Margaret Holetz on September 24, 1943 in Jamaica, Queens, NY. Ginny moved to Bethlehem with her family in 1947. She graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1961 and the University of Steubenville in 1965. She taught mostly first grade in the Allentown School District for 35 years at Roosevelt Elementary School before retiring in 2000. She was a proud member and past Treasurer of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, PA Alpha Chapter for many years. Ginny and her husband Tom celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on December 28, 2010.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas of Bethlehem, sons, Thomas II and wife Shawn Marie of Lower Nazareth and David of Bethlehem, sisters, Helen Groh of Bethlehem Township and Marilyn Vosicka of Buford, GA. She will also be missed by her three beautiful grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Bryan of Lower Nazareth and Kirsten of Bethlehem Township.

SERVICES

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Notre Dame Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18017 at 11 AM. A calling period will be held in the church from 10-11 AM. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ginny's name to Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority care of Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018, to aid their altruistic efforts.
