Virginia O. Pullen, 93, of Bethlehem, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Friday, August 1, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospice House in Lower Saucon Twp. She was born in Roebling, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Matthew and Minne (Ford) ODonnell. She was the loving wife of Charles Chester Pullen. They were married 67 years before his death in 2010.
Virginia dedicated her life to her family. She was a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church in Bethlehem and a member of their sodality. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 25 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Richard, husband of Phillipia of Prince Frederick, MD; and Robert, husband of Sheri of Leesburg, VA; daughters, Joan, wife of Edward Manson of Weston, VT; and Mary Ann, wife of Terry Novatnack of Bethlehem;
nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Vincent ODonnell.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at St. Annes Catholic Church 450 E. Washington Ave., Bethlehem, PA at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
