Waldon Erwin Kiesshauer

Waldon E. "Wally" Kiesshauer, 86, of Nazareth; died quietly, Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Moravian Hall Square. He was born in Fluvanna, NY, the son of the late Erwin and Marie (Schosenburg) Kiesshauer.

He was the loving husband of Joan (Zakeski) Kiesshauer with whom he spent many loving and happy years.

After completing his service in the Army Air Corp, Mr. Kiesshauer attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, earning his degree in metallurgical engineering. He immediately went to work for Bethlehem Steel, briefly in Research, but almost entirely in Sales. When he retired after 30+ years of service, he was Manager of Carbon and Alloy Bar sales. He was a longtime member of Saucon Valley Country Club and was an avid golfer. His greatest pleasure was spending time at his summer home on Lake Wallenpaupack.

Wally will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joan; son, Eric Kiesshauer and his wife, Cynthia; daughters, Elizabeth Hamerstone, Allison Kiesshauer and Donna Casey, wife of Joe Casey; brother, Sherwin Kiesshauer and his wife, Gail; grandchildren, Shannon and Erin Casey, Kara Hamerstone,Ryan Kiesshauer (and his wife Bethany),Sarah KiesshauerHarris (and her husband Michael), Rachel Galloway, and Jason Becker (and his wife Laura)and his three great-grandchildren, Avery and Allie Becker, and BrinKiesshauer

Services: A Memorial Service will be held, Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 1 PM at First Presbyterian Church, 2344 Center St. Bethlehem.
