Walter Horoschock

Walter Horoschock, 72, of Bethlehem, PA died Thursday, June 26, 2008 in his home surrounded by his family. Born October 19, 1935 in Excelsor, PA he was the son of the late John and Sallie Suchanick Horoschock. He was married to Felicia Rosamalia Horoschock, with whom he would have celebrated 45 years of marriage this August 17th.

Walter worked for the former Bethlehem Steel in the maintenance department for 20 years. He also worked for Arc and Allen Floor Cleaning and in the deli at the former Shopwell grocery store. Walter loved listening and dancing to polka music and never missed a day of Musikfest at the Polka Tent. He was a kind hearted man who will be missed by all who knew him.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Felicia of Bethlehem, daughters; Diane Horoschock and her partner Chris Bickert of Bethlehem, Brenda wife of Kirk Demyan of Harrisburg, and Kathy wife of Joseph Armstrong of Bensalem, brother, John Horoschock and wife Christine of Ranshaw, PA, sisters; Anna wife of Joseph Olbrish of Kulpmont, PA and Irene wife of Robert Ferdalewicz of Shamokin, PA. He will also be missed by his three grandchildren; Reid, Tyler, and Sydney.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Karpinski, and his brothers, Vincent and Daniel Horoschock.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held Monday June 30, 2008 at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, from 6-9 PM and again Tuesday July 1, 2008 from 8-9:15 AM. A service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
