Walter K. Arawjo

Walter K. "Cogi" Arawjo, 84, of Freemansburg, died on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at his Residence. He was born in Bethlehem the son of the late John and Vilma Kaldy Arawjo. He was the loving husband of Shirley Burgess Arawjo. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary last April.

Walter worked for Western Electric as a layout operator. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Freemansburg; a lifetime member of the Freemansburg Fire Co. and a past little league coach for FBTAA. He was an avid fisherman who loved spending time with his family on the Big Rideau Lake in Ontario, Canada.

Walter will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Shirley, sons, Darryl Arawjo and his wife, Karen of Bushkill; Kevin Arawjo and his wife, Catherine, of Bethlehem; daughter, Ginger, wife of John Mihulec of Freemansburg;

his grandchildren, Shannon, wife of Michael Chanda, Stacy Mihulec, Justin, Sean and Ian Arawjo and his two great-grandchildren, Autumn Mihulec and Michael Chanda. He was preceded in death by his sister, Regina Arawjo.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Friday, March 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
