Wash Telepchak, Jr, 95, of Bethlehem Township passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Patricia (Keretz) Brandstetter and the late Helen (Yaworsky) Telepchak who died April 2, 2011. Wash was born in Nesquehoning on May 9, 1929 to the late Wash, Sr. and Anna (Rohal) Telepchak. He served our country faithfully in the US Army as a Motorpool Staff Sergeant during the Korean War. Wash owned and operated Mr. Wash Inc., general contracting from 1959-1986. He then worked for Keystone Consulting Engineering as a Resident Project Rep. until retiring. Wash was Past-President of the Lehigh Valley Amateur Astronomical Society and the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. He was a dedicated member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Bethlehem where he served on council and sang in the choir. Wash was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, a passion he shared with friends and family.
Survivors: In addition to his wife; daughters: Kathy and Karen; stepson: William Press; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sisters: Amelia Harbin and Martha Kokura.
Service: Family and friends are invited to his viewing 10-11am Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 980 Bridle Path Road, Bethlehem followed by a funeral service at 11am. The interment will conclude service with Military Honors at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Condolences may be offered online at www.connellfuneral.com
