Willard W. Kulp, 85, of Bethlehem passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Bernice M. (Miller) Kulp who died June 30, 2014. Willard was born in Northampton on May 13, 1937, to the late Harold W., Sr. and Jennie (Groller) Kulp. He graduated from Northampton High School and was co-captain of the wrestling team. Willard served our country faithfully in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He owned and operated W.W. Kulp Insurance Agency in Allentown and then in Bethlehem for many years until retiring. Willard was a member of Christ U.C.C.-Schoenersville. A dedicated volunteer to his community, he served on many organizations, President & Coach of the Bethlehem Steelers Youth Football, Coach for West Bethlehem Youth Assoc. Wrestling, Coach for Northwest Bethlehem Youth, Habitat for Humanity, former Borough of Northampton Council member. A life member of Lions Club International for over 50 years, he was Past District Governor of 14K, and was a member of the Hanover Twp. Lions Club. A Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow and a Joseph Wrobleski Fellow, Willard received the 2nd highest medal given out by Lions International, the Presidential Medal and the 3rd highest award, the Leadership Medal. He was a member of the Bethlehem Masonic Lodge.

Survivors: children: Daryl J. Kulp of Bethlehem, Sharon M. (Perry) Hartmann of Milford, PA, Donna J. (Edward) Erney of Bethlehem; sister: Peggy Heckman; grandchildren: Tyler R. Erney, Joshua M. Erney, Garrett J. Hartmann, Zachary W. Erney & Sierra F. Hartmann. Predeceased in death by siblings: Harold W. Kulp, Jr., Paul Kulp, Eleanor Moatz, Shirley Hanzaric & Baby Kulp.

Service: Family and friends are invited to call 10-11:00am Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Christ U.C.C.-Schoenersville, 5050 Airport Road-Allentown followed by a service at 11am. The interment will conclude services at Greenwood Cemetery at Howertown. Online condolences may be offered at connellfuneral.com.
