William B. Noe

William B. Noe, 92, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital. Born April 14, 1920 in Hellertown, William was the son of the late John and Anna (Hancz) Noe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica A. (Gumlock) Noe.

He proudly served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. William later worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. as an Electric Furnace Melting 1st Helper, retiring in 1980 after almost 40 years of service. William was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem Twp. William was an avid hunter and enjoyed making pysanky eggs.

William is survived by his brother, Joseph of Bethlehem Twp.; daughter-in-law, Jeanie Noe of Pensacola, FL; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Raymond; daughter-in-law Joyce; sister, Irene Hawk; and brothers, Ernest, Louis and James.

A visitation will be held from 11 AM-12 PM on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1817 1st St. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
