William C. Danner

William C. Danner, 87, of Allentown, formerly of Fountain Hill, died on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Green Meadows in Allentown.

Born December 25, 1918 in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Pearl U. and Agnes M. Richter Danner. He was married to Constance M. Husser Danner for 56 years prior to her death in 1998. He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corp. in the Coke Works as a Meter Repairman for 41 years before retiring in 1980. He was also the oldest surviving member of the Coke Works Golf Team. His memberships include: The Home of the Good Samaritan, Holy Ghost Seniors and the MORA Club, all of Bethlehem. SURVIVORS He will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters, Linda Trively and husband Paul of Allentown; Marlene Hein and husband Thomas of Fountain Hill; Renee Matlock and husband Michael of Bethlehem; two brothers, James Danner of Fountain Hill and John Danner of Allentown, a sister, Anna Gross of Fountain Hill; seven grandchildren, Thomas & Danielle Hein, Cassandra Pietkiewicz, Kimberly & Michael Matlock, Jr., Jacqueline Ruszin, Paul H. Trively, III and his great-grandchildren, William, Justin, Victoria, Jarrett, Joshua, Julian & Jackson. He was preceded in death by a brother Joseph and a sister Agnes Danner. SERVICES

A Funeral Service will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem on Monday, July 24, 2006 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM from Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Friends may call on Sunday, July 23, from 7- 9PM and on Monday, July 24, from 8:30 to time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Ghost Cemetery, Bethlehem.
