William C. Korpics

William C. Korpics, 88, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, February 26, 2009 in his home in Bethlehem.

Born May 9, 1920 in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Anna Makos and Frank Korpics. He was married to Margaret Marcincin Korpics celebrating their 67th anniversary this past September 27th.

William worked for the former Bethlehem Steel as a General Foreman in the # 3 Fabrication Shop. After retiring in 1976 he went on to work with the Bethlehem Housing Authority from 1976 to 1984 as the Maintenance and Supplies Manager. William was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord's Parish in Bethlehem formerly Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.

He will be lovingly rememebered by his wife, Margaret Korpics of Bethlehem, sons, David Korpics and wife Barbara of Midland Park, NJ, Joseph Korpics and wife Carolyn of Bethlehem Township, PA and Richard Korpics and wife Tanya of Center Valley, PA. He will also be remembered by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Korpics and sister, Helen Zimmerman.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held March 2, 2009 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 8:30 - 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation of Our Lord's Parish 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015 at 10 AM.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in William's name to the church.
