William Charles Goheen

William Charles "Willie" Goheen, 74, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, August 23, 2010 at LV Hospital-Muhlenberg.

He was born February 2, 1936; the son of the late John and Helen Goheen of Allentown.

Willie was employed by Liberty Nursing Home in Allentown, Good Shepherd Work Service Recycling in Allentown, and APS in Bethlehem. Recently, he was partially retired, splitting his time between LifePath Workshop and LifePath Seniors Program in Bethlehem. Willie has received services through LifePath, Inc for over 25 years.

Willie will be lovingly remembered by his "family" at LifePath and will be missed dearly.

Willie loved his independence and was proud that he was able to navigate the bus system. He enjoyed traveling, watching old movies; especially The Three Stooges, had a great passion for Christmas themed items and enjoyed dining out. When asked how he is doing, Willie is well-known for raising one hand and responding, "Could be better, could be worse."

A viewing will be held at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 10-11 AM with a ceremony to honor Willie's life to immediately follow.

Burial will be at Garden of Peace Cemetery, Whitehall.
