William E. Gubish

William E. Gubish, 82, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at his home. He was born September 2, 1934 in Lower Saucon Twp.; son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Gray) Gubish, Sr. William was preceded in death by his wife, Joan (Hale) Gubish.

William proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. In 1982, he retired from the Bethlehem Steel as a Draftsman after over 30 years of service. William was a member of Rosemont Lutheran Church.

He will be dearly missed by his son, David W. Gubish; grandchildren, Sara and Noah Gubish; sister, Helen Barbarics and brother, Charles Gubish. William was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Gubish; sisters, Mary Keleman, Grace Kucsan, Irma Moretz and Agnes Pinter; and his brothers, Lawrence and Edward Gubish.

Connell Funeral Home is honored to assist in the graveside services for William which will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Rd., Allentown, PA 18109. We invite all friends wishing to attend to meet at the entrance to the cemetery.
