William F. Martin

William "Bill" F Martin, 58, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Manor Care Health Services I in Bethlehem. He was born in Scranton, PA and the son of the late Clarence and Marjorie Manley Martin. Bill is the husband of Dorothy A. Cope Martin with whom he celebrated their eleventh anniversary this January.

Bill worked for Albarell Electric as a truck driver for fourteen years before going on disability. Bill was a veteran of the Marine Corps serving 1969 to 1971. He was a member of Tri county Rod & Gun Club, Tri Boro Sportsman Club and the Grover Cleveland Democratic Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Dorothy A. Cope Martin of Bethlehem, daughter Melissa Penick and her husband Steve, Step son Michael F. Gonsalves and wife Linda Ciulla of Whiehall, PA, Step daughter Amy Lazorik and her husband Thomas of Bethlehem, brother Robert Martin of Nazareth, sister Susan Trexler and her husband David of Bethlehem and six grandchildren Makenzie, Kayla Tommy, Josh, Justin and Ryan.

Visitation Monday, February 1, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Connell Funeral Home.

Burial following service at Holy Saviour Cemetery
