William J. Bilsak

March 2, 1932 — June 15, 2016

William J. Bilsak, 84, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at St. Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Susanna (Harvilla) and John Bilsak. He was married to Kathryn “Kitty” (Hasenecz) Bilsak with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage this past November.

Bill worked as an electrician for Allentown IEBW Local 375. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, receiving several metals. He was a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathryn at home; and his daughter, Stephanie wife of Barry Westington of Clarks Summit; grandson, Dustin Ganz and step-grandchildren, Dylan and Meredith Westington. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen “Blondie” Dancho and Anna Bartos; and brothers, John, Stephen, Joseph and Michael Bilsak.

A viewing will be held this evening, Friday, June 17th at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, Pa 18018 from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Annes Catholic Church 450 E. Washington Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18017 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Williams name to Wounded Warriors Association, PO BOX 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
