Billy had a magnetic smile, he was always happy, and yes, he would like to shake your hand.
William J. “Billy” Fink Jr. 67, of Bethlehem died on February 26 at LVH Muhlenberg with his brother, Jim at his bedside. He was born in Bethlehem on December 15, 1953 in Fountian Hill to Marguerite M. (Fischer) Fink and the late William J. Fink Sr. He loved his Mom and Dad and had a special affection for his Nana and PopPop, the late Carl and Elizabeth Fischer.
Billy bowled for many years with the Monday Afternoon League at Town and Country Lanes. He bowled better than any of us and he formed cherished friendships there. He loved science fiction television, especially Lost in Space. (“Danger Will Robinson!”) He could recite episodes verbatim and loved the Robot. He was the #1 Fan of the Comets Youth Hockey team of Bethlehem Pa. His answer to every question was “good.”
Billy attended Mercy School for Special Learning and was employed for over 30 years. He began his career at Kurtz Training Center and retired from APS industries both in Bethlehem.
Billy will be dearly missed by his devoted Mother, whom he resided with until recently; his brothers James Fink, David Fink and Robert Fink. Their spouses Renne Fink, Kevin Beyer and Theresa Fink. He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Fink. He adored his nieces and nephews Ashley Fink, the late Adam Fink, Amanda Fink, Thomas Fink and Carly Fink. Also dear to his heart were Debra Fink and Jacob Watson. Billy was a special joy, well loved by us all.
Due to the pandemic, services will be private for the family only. A Celebration of Life will be held honoring Billy later this year, welcoming all family & friends.
