William J. Grabus, 68, of Bethlehem Twp., died on Saturday, October 18, 2014. He was born October 27, 1945 in Philadelphia; son of the late Edward and Laura (Nowak) Grabus. Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia J. (Wadsworth) Grabus.
Bill was a graduate of Father Judge High School and served in the Philadelphia Police Department prior to becoming a Pennsylvania State Trooper. Upon his retirement from the state police, Bill became a human resource professional for many years and finished his career with Trans-Bridge Lines. Bill was a member of the Bethlehem Coin and Stamp Club, enjoyed building models and was an avid trap shooter.
Bill will be dearly missed by his wife, Pat; sons, Eric E. Grabus and his wife, Lisa of Berks County; and Scott P. Grabus and his wife, Nicole of Oreland, PA as well as his daughter-in-law Nancy Grabus of Reading and his four grandsons. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian M. Grabus and his brother, Edward.
A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020 on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 9:30-11 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1525 Valley Center Parkway, Suite 180 Bethlehem, PA 18107.
