William J. Searfoss, Jr.

William J. Searfoss, Jr., 79, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, January 26, 2009 at Mary Ellen Convalescent Home in Hellertown.

He was born in Northampton, the son of the late William J. and Helen Searfoss, Sr.

William retired from the former Keystone Box Factory. Previously he worked for Bethlehem Steel Co., Hotel Bethlehem and Angler Construction.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mildred D. Creyer Searfoss; daughters Linda wife of William Lasko of Steel City and Lana Searfoss of Bethlehem as well as two grandsons, William and Keith and four great grandchildren, Heather, Billy, Jamie and Cody

William was preceded in death by his son, William J. Searfoss, III; two sisters and three brothers.

He enjoyed spending his free time fishing.

Friends may call on Friday, January 30, 2009 from 10-11 am at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem with a service to immediately follow at 11 am in the funeral home.

Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Bethlehem
