William J. Tucker

William “Bill” J. Tucker, 84, of Wind Gap, formerly of Bangor, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hecktown Oaks. He was the husband of the late Lucille (Heffelfinger) Tucker who died May 25, 2019. Bill was born in Pen Argyl on August 17, 1938, to the late William Henry and Anna (Popovice) Tucker. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Car Salesman for the former Strohl Chevrolet, Fogelsville and the former Diechman-Walker Chevrolet, Palmer Twp. Bill was a member of St. Stephens Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: daughters: Leslie Tucker of Pen Argyl, Kelly Tucker of Pen Argyl; sister: Carol Ann Milano of Thermopolis, Wyoming; stepchildren: Michael Farrell, Andrew Farrell, Jr., Luanne Dimmitt, Linda Kropf, Lisa Farrell; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, & great nephews.

Service: Family and friends are invited to his Graveside Service, 11am Friday, May 5, 2023 at St. James “Straw Church” Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NJ followed by Military Honors. Online condolences may be offered at connellfuneral.com.
