William K. Salabsky Sr.

William K. Salabsky Sr., 93, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, March 13, 2011. Born in Bethlehem on December 1, 1917, he was the son of the late Albert and Katherine Kuehner Salabsky. He was the husband of the late Eleanor Rinker Salabsky.

William was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Co. working as a crane operator for many years. He was a member of St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, and a veteran of the Army having served during WWII. He was also an avid golfer.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, William Jr. and wife Julie, Gary and wife Rochelle, and Dale and wife Alice, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert and James, and sister, Hermione.

Viewing hours will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday March 16th from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow on Thursday beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
