William R. Mccarroll

William R. McCarroll, 86, of Macungie formerly of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday October 6, 2009. He was the son of the late Howard and Mary Stocker McCarroll. He was the husband of the late Bertha Holena McCarroll.

Bill worked as a shipper for the Bethlehem Corporation for 38 years. He was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and also served his country in the US Army during WW2 in the European Theater.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Linda Kale wife of Gerald of Macungie with whom he resided, brother Edward McCarroll of Hamburg, Pa., 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son, William R. McCarroll Jr., brothers, Harold, Lewis, and Samuel and a sister, Loretta Schmell.

AFuneral Service will held 10AM Friday October 9, 2009 at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity 321 Wyandotte St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18015 Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 7-8:30PM at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018

Burial with military services will be held at Bethlehem Memorial Park
