William R. Szulborski

William R. Szulborski, 58, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at LV Hospice.

He was born May 13, 1952; the son of Kathleen Hanley Szulborski of Fountain Hill and the late William Stanley Szulborski.

Bill was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and while attending Kutztown University in 1973 was elected as the youngest councilman ever to serve the Borough of Fountain Hill.

He retired as a Supervisor from the U.S. Postal Service after 31 years of service.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Kathleen; his daughter, Stephanie Bauer and her husband Dan of Catasauqua; sisters, Kathleen Gessitz of Fountain Hill and Mary Fran Leahy and her husband Tom of Collegeville, PA as well as his niece and nephews.

Bill will be forever remembered for his gentle spirit, enjoyment of traveling, fondness for artwork and coins and for his ability to cook a great meal.

Bill's family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 6-8PM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. A viewing will be held in the church prior to mass from 9-9:45 AM.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
