William Robert Trauger

November 24, 1945 — May 15, 2010

William Robert Trauger, 65, of Bethlehem, died suddenly on Saturday, May 15, 2010.

He was born in Quakertown, PA; the son of the late Paul and Marcella Papke Trauger.

William proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

William is survived by his devoted wife of 43years, Diane Marie Barndt Trauger.

He worked in the construction industry for over 40 years, recently retiring from Dugan and Marcon. William was also a member of the Laborer's Union Local 1174.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family, wife, Diane; sons, Scott M. Trauger and his wife Mirna of Bethlehem and Chris M. Trauger and his wife Cassy of Bethlehem; his daughter Deena M. Trauger and seven grandchildren all of Bethlehem. William is also survived by his sisters, Sharon Breiner of Middlesex, N.J., and Erna Martin of Chestnut Hill, Pa.

William was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward and John Trauger.

A graveside ceremony with military honors will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Road Newtown, PA 18940 on Friday May 21, 2010 at 9:30AM
