William Sherwood Fogle

William Sherwood Fogle, 70, of Northampton, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 21, 2018. He was born March 22, 1948 in Allentown, the son of Kenneth Fogle of Saucon Valley and the late Dolores (Remele) Fogle.

Bill was a 1966 graduate of Louis E. Dieruff High School. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Bill was a commercial real estate appraiser for the County of Lehigh. He will be remembered for his hobbies. Bill enjoyed sailing his boat and fishing at Lake Nockamixon. He had an amazing outdoor railroad garden for his model trains, and loved flying kites. Bill had a special place in his heart for animals as well.

Bill will be dearly missed by his father, Kenneth; son, William Matthew Fogle of Whitehall; former spouse, Rita Fogle-Lintner of Northampton; brothers, Kenneth Fogle Jr. of Allentown; and Thomas Fogle and his wife, Joyce of Coopersburg. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Richard.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. with a service to immediately follow at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
