Yolanda M. Gotzon

Yolanda M. "Lonnie" Gotzon, 78, of Easton, died Sunday, August 2, 2009 surrounded by her children. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Alfonso J. and Rocchina Simonelli Bucchin. She was the loving wife of the late John E. Gotzon who died in 2006.

Lonnie was a self-employed private duty geriatric nurse for 20 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem Twp. She had a strong passion and love for her family and friends and enjoyed the theater and reading. Lonnie was also a member of the red hats and senior circle.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Dianne, wife of George Lacherza of Easton; son, John M. Gotzon of Coopersburg; brothers, Francis Bucchin of Bethlehem; Patrick Bucchin of Bell, CA; four grandchildren, twin grandsons, Matthew & Luke Gotzon & Gabrielle & Nicole Lacherza. She was preceded in death by two brothers & four sisters.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Family will receive friends from 9:30-11a.m. in the church. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Mausoleum, in Bethlehem. Connell Funeral Home, Inc. in Bethlehem is in charge of arrangements.
